Best. Mortal Kombat Movie. Ever? What Say You about what could be our first look at a new MK movie?
We're not exactly sure where this video came from. Is it Warner Bros. viral marketing plan for the new game? Is it a sales pitch to attract investors for another movie?
What we do know, is that this is the best live-action Mortal Kombat anything, in the history of ever.
Watch the YouTube video below and see for yourself a very gritty, very real world take on the once and future kombatants of Outworld. Follow Detective Jackson (or "Jacks" as the last two letters are faded on his office door, a nod to "Jax") as he flips through dossiers on Fatality-happy folk like Reptile and Baraka, setting the stage for what could be the best thing to ever happen to the MK movie franchise.

The first thing you should know about NBC’s new summer miniseries Persons Unknown is that its creator Christopher McQuarrie also wrote The Usual Suspects. I would have probably been ready to give up after one episode if McQuarrie hadn’t provided one of the most satisfying resolutions to a film in the last couple of decades. I’ve been down this road before, and I’m not sure I could handle another sideways purgatory, dream sequence or alternate reality to explain away what I’ve invested my time and attention to.
